Don't Miss Your Season
“Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favor her, yea, the set time, is come” (Psalm 102:13).
I remember it so clearly! Right while I was deliberating in my mind as to whether or not I had heard from God concerning launching New Kingdom Ministries International, a prophetic text was sent to me from my brother in all caps - DON'T MISS YOUR SEASON! It was all I needed to confirm what God had already revealed to me. Since then, there have been many more confirmations until the vision was finally realized through faith and obedience.
As we have learned from our last Tuesday evening class, God's eternal plan always has preeminence over natural time. When God gives us a promise by His Word or through His Spirit, man's time is never the determining factor. However, if you access the eternal realm of God's promises through faith, you'll come into the manifestation of what you've been believing for, regardless of your age, or past disappointments. The key is in not missing your appointments with God.
Today begins our first day of prayer and fasting. Tonight our church is coming together to access the supernatural power of God through corporate prayer and confessions. We're believing for supernatural results to take place in our lives and in our ministry. We are no longer relying on the arms of the flesh to bless, promote, or open doors. We are operating in a greater dimension called kairos, which is the Greek word meaning appointment with God. Through your appointments with God, you'll tap into that 'divine flow' of direction you seek. God will direct your steps toward being in the right place at the right time, connecting with the right people, and getting the right opportunities.
You don't have to work harder in order to be blessed; just work smarter. Begin in His presence, and allow him to order your steps (decisions and actions) according to His perfect will. If you're serious about living an abundant life and being in God's set time, then don't miss these dynamic three nights of prayer. This is the set time for God to favor you and bring out of the land of not enough into the land of more than enough. I am so glad I didn't miss my season when He spoke, and I don't want you to miss yours. Do you sense an urgency in the Spirit to respond, then don't miss your season of increase, promotion, and extraordinary breakthroughs.
