So Much More

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20 NLT).

Have you ever experienced moments in life when you just didn't know what you wanted? Or, maybe you knew what you wanted but was uncertain as to how you were going to get it. The other day someone on my staff asked me if there was anything I wanted by way of a gift. I was very pleased to know that they were wanting to get together to bless me in order to show their appreciation. They also know my philosophy that says instead of guessing what I might like to just straight up ask me. The strange thing about this time was that as decisive as I am about what I want in life, it took me two days to respond; not because I didn't know what I wanted, but I knew in my heart that what I really wanted only God is able to provide. Of all the times I've been asked that question, on this particular day it impacted me the most.

I sense that many of you can relate to what I'm saying. Have you ever had a dream so big that you knew that no one but God was qualified to bring it to pass? Here are a few things you need to know about the dream you're carrying in your spiritual womb. First, The dream or vision in your heart is God's seed to you. You are the breeding ground for that dream. Your thoughts, words, faith, and actions will determine the quality or end result of that dream. Your dream can be as big as you allow it to be. The Word of God is imperative if you're going to experience the God kind of results.

Secondly, with that dream comes a calling to do things you've never done before. Where God is taking you is requiring you to not rely on your own strength and abilities. It's important that you understand that there's nothing you can do without God's support, His wisdom and guidance in your life. Today, God calls you to total dependency upon Him. He will never call you to do something you can do by yourself. He will always call you to do something greater than yourself. It's also critical for you to make your appointments with God before you make them with men. The Holy Spirit has a way of turning hearts toward your vision and causing you to ride on the wings of His favor. This is what I refer to as 'divine flow', the place of divine appointment where there are no limits to what you can receive.

So, if you are struggling with answering the "What do you want?" question, maybe it's a sign that your faith has superseded your rationale, outgrown your experiences, and elevated you to a place of endless possibilities. Even like Abraham, you can look at the stars in the sky and point to the sand in the seashore and respond with boldness, I want it all! God desires to do so much more in your life. If God sees more in store for you, then don't settle for less. He's waiting on you to give Him permission to do infinitely more than you can ask or think.
