Spring Forth
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19).
Winter is over, birds are singing, the flowers are in bloom, and the bees are buzzing. Spring is here! It’s usually during this time of year that many people begin to loosen up and enjoy the simple things of life like family, friends, or even nature. My word to you this week is simple - God wants you to live and enjoy life to the fullest (John 10:10b). Before you can enjoy your life, you must first let go of anything that’s not producing fruit in your life. God desires to do a new thing for you and through you. He just wants you to recognize what it is so that you can walk freely therein without constraint.
Every promise that God has spoken over your life is about to spring forth. Here are some basic definitions for spring forth: to rise, leap, move; to be released from a constrained position; to come into being; to shift; to begin to appear; to stretch, or to bring forth. Do you hear God speaking to you? His blessings are waiting to spring forth in your life. But first, you must spring forth in your faith and expectation. Get out of your slump. Don’t waddle in the mud of your past mistakes and disappointments. Stop letting the cares, worries, and business of life hinder your peace of mind. Get up! Spring forth into the abundant grace bestowed upon you this day. God’s mercies are new every morning, and He wants you to take advantage of it in order for your life to bloom like never before.
Have you ever thought about how most flowers bloom in spring? Well, each year, the unique combination of sun, wind, water, temperature, and the proper ground sets the stage for the springtime blooms. This combination of growing elements must be adequate, not too much or too little. It must be just enough to get the seeds to germinate and produce at the proper time. That’s exactly what I feel is happening to you. God is using an adequate amount of your good and bad days to produce a beautiful flower. The great thing about God is that He knows what each of us can handle. However, it is necessary for you to go through these various conditions.
Now, it’s time for you to enjoy a new position of increase and prosperity. Give yourself permission to spring forth into your new season of joy, peace, and favor. It doesn't matter where you are right now, God can make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Then, you’ll be able to sit back, relax, and declare – look what the Lord has done!
