Your Eternal Destiny
The only guarantee you have for ultimate fulfillment is through a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. This is not about finding religion or joining a church. This is about spending eternity with God. The only way to have assurance of your eternal security is through receiving Christ into your heart by faith. When you hear the gospel of Jesus Christ you must believe in Him, and repent of your sins. As a result, you will be saved. The gospel is good news. The good news is that Jesus loves you and paid the price for your sins by dying on the cross. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
If you believe the gospel, now all you have to do as an act of your faith is pray this simple prayer, and mean it from your heart:
Heavenly Father, I accept Your Son Jesus as my Savior and Lord. I invite Jesus to come into my life. I believe that He died on the cross for my sins and rose on the third day for my eternal salvation. Because of what You’ve done, I now receive the life of God flowing through me. As I accept my new identity as a child of God, I renounce allegiance with the kingdom of darkness and receive a new citizenship in the Kingdom of your dear Son. I repent of all my sins. I am now a new person in Christ. The old life is gone, and the new life has begun, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Because of your confession of faith in the Lord Jesus, you are now part of the family of God. The rest of your life can be the best of your life by doing the following: Read and study the Word of God daily; talk to God by praying for His wisdom, strength, peace, and guidance in every decision you make; attend a Bible-based church that teaches the Word of God in a balanced way so that you can grow spiritually; get involved with positive people that can encourage you in your new walk with the Lord.
